succulents mixed with cut flowers

The crosspollination banner uses a shot of a bridesmaid's bouquet I did for a wedding a while back (I can't remember the photographer - if you know her contact info email me). I absolutely love mixing succulents with fresh cut flowers and the trend is still steadily growing.

The corsages and bouts also reflected the eclectic feel and orange/fuschia/gray-green color scheme.

Here's the bride carrying her bouquet, which she planted after the wedding, and the succulents and echeverias are still growing! Below is the image from MSWeddings that the bride brought in as her inspiration, but liked the idea of tulips instead of orchids. Bouquet is by Livia Cetti.
You can find another stunning bouquet using echeverias on One Love Photography's blog.

Here's a few examples of other ways I've used succulents in designs for Pollen.

Fresh mini pineapples are mixed with Peppermint roses, acacia foliage, fishing net and shells.

The entry table arrangement is packed with huge King Protea, anthuriums, white bamboo poles and moss.

Galvanized metal containers hold all the faux coral, moss. orchids, roses and succulents on the buffet table. Wish I'd gotten some shots after the votives were lit and the sun went down!
